the crystal coast

We spent last weekend (Thursday - Sunday) on Emerald Isle with Sarah's parents. We had an awesome time. It was Sarah's parents second time to North Carolina's coast, but their first time to Emerald Isle. It was our second time there in a month! We had a great house right on the beach and spent a lot of time on our balcony watching the waves and enjoying the sun and moonlight. Saturday night we headed to Beaufort, NC and shopped, went to the NC Maritime Museum, toured a cemetery that dates back to the early 1700's and ate at the famous Nethouse restaurant. I have to rank Emerald Isle as one of my favorite places on this earth.

we fell for greenville

Sarah's parents arrived in town last Thursday and will be here until Oct 23! This past weekend we all went down to Greenville, SC to visit some of Sarah's family. We had a great time watching lots of college football Saturday afternoon and then headed downtown to the Fall for Greenville festival. We ate a lot of unique food and listened to some good music. Greenville has a pretty cool downtown area with a great park and waterfall.
